Field Trips and Tour Information

1820 N 4th St Harrisburg PA 17102

Thank you considering the PA National Fire Museum for your field trip.  The Pennsylvania National Fire Museum is housed in an 1899 Victorian firehouse.  Our guided tours take 75-90 minutes.

The Fire Museum exhibits focus on the history of the fire service from the time of America’s colonial days to the present.  Visitors are not permitted to climb on any of the fire trucks or other displays. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is responsible for their behavior.

For registered groups, our guided tours rotate through the various parts of the museum about every 20 minutes.

To schedule a guided tour, the museum requests at least two weeks’ notice so that we can have enough volunteer staff on hand.  The group rate is $6.00 per person regardless of age and applies to all attendees. (Students, teachers, chaperones, etc.)

Since we are housed in an 1899 Victorian firehouse space is limited, we do not have an area for groups to sit and eat.
